Everyday, children all over the world are abandoned. Will you help us Sustain A Life?
What is Sustain A Life?
These children are left with no one to feed them, no one to love them and no one to care for them. They face innumerable challenges. Additionally, many have physical or mental disabilities, or are suffering from diseases such as HIV/AIDS. At Mustard Seed Communities, we care for these children at our homes in Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Zimbabwe.
Mustard Seed Communities created Sustain A Life to offer our dedicated supporters the opportunity to form a lasting relationship with a specific child in one of our communities, much like a traditional child sponsorship program. When you choose to Sustain A Life, you will change a child's future.
How does Sustain A Life work?
Get to Know the Program: 
We currently offer the Sustain A Life program in two locations - Zimbabwe and Nicaragua. When you Sustain A Life, your funds will serve the child that you are supporting together with the entire apostolate in which they live and receive care. The monthly or annual donation will be designated to the specific community to offset the costs of caring for all of the children at that location. This includes basic care, food, clothing, education, medical care and more.

Get to Know the Children:
On the Sustain A Life country pages, you have the opportunity to read each child’s story. Every child has their own story and has experienced a unique set of hardships. A member of the Mustard Seed Communities family has spent time with each child and that child's caretaker to get to know them and collect information to share with their supporters. The goal is for you to see glimpses of each child’s personality and character so that you can understand more about them. Simply click on any child’s name or picture to read his or her personal story told through their own eyes.
Choose to Sustain A Life:
When you decide to help and sustain a child's life, simply click on the link at the bottom of their page to Sustain A Life and begin your relationship with that child. Fill out and complete the online giving form and then the first step of the process is complete! You'll receive photographs, status reports and updates about your child from Mustard Seed Communities. You will also receive newsletters and other information from Mustard Seed Communities throughout the year. You will see the positive impact you are making in the life of a young child and the surrounding community.
