Patience

My Birthday: September 12, 2005

My Gender: Female

My Home: Freedom House, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

My Story:

Hi everyone I'm Patience! I live at Freedom House with my big brother Kelvin. I like playing with my friends Sonja and Brightness. I love preschool! I like my teacher Precious and getting to learn and read...I have lots of favorite things! My favorite shape is a circle, my favorite color is purple, my favorite thing outside is flowers and my favorite item of clothing is shoes!

They say I'm a little shy, but sometimes I just need a little quiet time to think. The story of Baby Jesus makes me really happy and that's why I want to be a nun when I grow up.  I also want to teach children, especially about the story of Baby Jesus. I get to practice this a little bit by playing "big sister" to Sisa and all the little girls here at Mustard Seed.

Thanks for stopping by!

Background:

Patience has a big brother, Kelvin, who is also lives at Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe. Their mother abandoned the children and left for South Africa. Their father left as well. The parents have had no contact with the children since they left. Neighbors found the children and contacted Social Welfare who brought them to Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe in 2009.
