My Story:
Hello, my name is Johannes, but I they call me Jo for short. I attend pre-school. I am very shy and quiet, but living with lots of other children and going to school is helping me open up. In preschool we draw often, which I really enjoy.
Two of the children that I like to play with the most are Moses and Daniel. We love to play outdoors together. I even like to play in the rain, though it can get me in trouble with my house mother. One thing that really interests me is outer space. I love to go to the lunar park. My favorite treats are ice cream and cake. I do not cause any trouble when it is bedtime because I love my room and I am ready for a good nights sleep after a long day of school and playing outside.

Background:
Johannes is a shy quiet child. He was brought to Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe when he was 2 weeks old with no known relatives. His surname was given to him by his house mother, Mrs. Muranda, because Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe was unaware of any name he was given beforehand. He arrived at the same time as his twin brother, Joel. Joel had cerebral palsy and unfortunately passed away from pneumonia. "Joel's Place" one of the other homes at Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe was named in his honor. Johannes does not know of his brother Joel because he passed away when they were both so young, but Jo will be told about Joel when the time is right. He was an angry child during early development but has improved dramatically because of the social interaction with other children and school.
