Amina

My Birthday: July 9, 2006

My Gender: Female

My Home: Joel's Place, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

My Story:

Hi, my name is Amina. They tell me I'm really cute and sometimes I have a lilttle bit of a playful attitude to go along with it! I have big beautiful eyes. I want to be a model when I grow up, though I would like to work at Potter's House first. I'm a little shy when you first meet me, but after that watch out, I will hug you all day long!

My favorite part of the day is going to pre-school because that's where I get to draw pictures. After school, I hang out with Lynetty and we have fun singing and dancing. I also like to cook. My favorite thing to make is the mud in the playground, but I would never eat it! I really like rice and peanut butter mixed together. It looks like the mud I make in the playground, but tastes a lot better!

Look for me on the runway soon!

Love, Amina

Background:

Amina is a bright, beautiful little girl. Her family suffered from a situation of extreme poverty. When Amina arrived at Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe she was very sick and needed lots of care. Amina’s mother passed away when she was around 2 weeks old.  Her father brought her to Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe immediately after her mother passed. He still comes to visit and Amina goes to spend time with him around Christmas time.
