Patience

My Birthday: March 10, 1995

My Gender: Female

My Home: Freedom House, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

My Story:

Hello, my name is Patience.  I am probably just like any teenager in that I like a little space and to have things "my way". I can be quiet sometimes but I also like spending time with friends. I am in high school (Junior in High School).  I go to boarding school. The subjects I excel at in school are English, composition, geography and math. I like to write, to look at different environments and the rules developed for math problems.

Like most teenagers, I love music and I will sing just for fun. My favorite type of music is R&B and songs like "Crawl" by Chris Brown.  Reading is important to me and I really like novels, especially the scary ones!  My favorite part of the week is Church. I like everything about it. Our Chapel is very special to me. If I'm feeling a little down, I just go to the Chapel and it relieves the stress. When I grow up I want to be a Chemical Engineer.

Thanks!  Patience

Background:

Patience is a bright young woman with a great smile. Both of her parents passed away some time ago and Patience was sent to live with an uncle who was only interested in the amaterial things her parents had left behind. He would not pay her school fee's and eventually Social Welfare stepped in and brought her to Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe. Prior to arriving at Mustard Seed Communities Zimbabwe in 2009, she was terribly malnourished and receiving little to no care.
